But behold, there shall be many—at that day when I shall proceed to do a marvelous work among them, that I may remember my covenants which I have made unto the children of men, that I may set my hand again the second time to recover my people, which are of the house of Israel;

2

I will remember the promises I made to you, Nephi, and to your father—that I would remember your descendants. The words of your descendants will come from me to your descendants, and my words will go out to the ends of the earth as a standard for my people, who are of the house of Israel.

And also, that I may remember the promises which I have made unto thee, Nephi, and also unto thy father, that I would remember your seed; and that the words of your seed should proceed forth out of my mouth unto your seed; and my words shall hiss forth unto the ends of the earth, for a standard unto my people, which are of the house of Israel;

Because my words will go out, many of the Gentiles will say, “A Bible! A Bible! We already have a Bible, and there can’t be any more Bible. ”

This is what the Lord God says: O fools, they will have a Bible, and it will come from the Jews, my ancient covenant people. And how do they thank the Jews for the Bible they receive from them? What do the Gentiles mean? Do they remember the struggles, the hard work, and the pains of the Jews, and their dedication to me in bringing salvation to the Gentiles?

But thus saith the Lord God: O fools, they shall have a Bible; and it shall proceed forth from the Jews, mine ancient covenant people. And what thank they the Jews for the Bible which they receive from them? Yea, what do the Gentiles mean? Do they remember the travails, and the labors, and the pains of the Jews, and their diligence unto me, in bringing forth salvation unto the Gentiles?

5

You Gentiles, have you remembered the Jews, my ancient covenant people? No; instead, you have cursed them, hated them, and have not tried to help them. I will bring all these things back on your own heads, for I, the Lord, have not forgotten my people.

O ye Gentiles, have ye remembered the Jews, mine ancient covenant people? Nay; but ye have cursed them, and have hated them, and have not sought to recover them. But behold, I will return all these things upon your own heads; for I the Lord have not forgotten my people.

You fool, who says, “We have a Bible, and we don’t need any more Bible. ” Have you received a Bible except through the Jews?

Don’t you know that there is more than one nation? Don’t you know that I, the Lord your God, created all people and remember those who are on the islands of the sea? I rule in the heavens above and on the earth below, and I give my word to the children of men, even to all the nations of the earth.

Know ye not that there are more nations than one? Know ye not that I, the Lord your God, have created all men, and that I remember those who are upon the isles of the sea; and that I rule in the heavens above and in the earth beneath; and I bring forth my word unto the children of men, yea, even upon all the nations of the earth?

8

Why are you complaining because you will receive more of my word? Don’t you know that the testimony of two nations is a witness to you that I am God, and that I remember one nation just like another? I speak the same words to one nation as I do to another. And when the two nations come together, their testimonies will come together as well.

Wherefore murmur ye, because that ye shall receive more of my word? Know ye not that the testimony of two nations is a witness unto you that I am God, that I remember one nation like unto another? Wherefore, I speak the same words unto one nation like unto another. And when the two nations shall run together the testimony of the two nations shall run together also.

9

I do this to show many people that I am the same yesterday, today, and forever, and that I speak my words as I choose. Just because I have spoken one word, you shouldn’t assume I can’t speak another, because my work isn’t finished yet; it won’t be finished until the end of humanity, and it will continue from that time on and forever.

And I do this that I may prove unto many that I am the same yesterday, today, and forever; and that I speak forth my words according to mine own pleasure. And because that I have spoken one word ye need not suppose that I cannot speak another; for my work is not yet finished; neither shall it be until the end of man, neither from that time henceforth and forever.

Because you have a Bible, you shouldn’t assume that it contains all my words; nor should you think that I haven’t caused more to be written.

I command everyone—those in the east, west, north, south, and on the islands of the sea—to write the words I speak to them. I will judge the world from the books that are written, each person according to their works and what is written.

For I command all men, both in the east and in the west, and in the north, and in the south, and in the islands of the sea, that they shall write the words which I speak unto them; for out of the books which shall be written I will judge the world, every man according to their works, according to that which is written.

12

I will speak to the Jews and they will write it; I will also speak to the Nephites and they will write it; I will also speak to the other tribes of the house of Israel, whom I have led away, and they will write it; and I will also speak to all nations of the earth and they will write it.

14

My people, who are of the house of Israel, will be gathered home to the lands of their inheritance, and my word will also be gathered together. I will show those who fight against my word and against my people, who are of the house of Israel, that I am God and that I made a covenant with Abraham to remember his descendants forever.
