After Jesus finished speaking, he turned again to the crowd and said, "Truly, I tell you, do not judge, so that you will not be judged.

And now it came to pass that when Jesus had spoken these words he turned again to the multitude, and did open his mouth unto them again, saying: Verily, verily, I say unto you, Judge not, that ye be not judged.

The way you judge others is how you will be judged, and the measure you use for others will be used for you.

For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged; and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.

Why do you notice the speck in your brother’s eye, but don’t pay attention to the beam in your own eye?

And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother’s eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?

How can you say to your brother, “Let me take the speck out of your eye, ” when there is a beam in your own eye?

Or how wilt thou say to thy brother: Let me pull the mote out of thine eye—and behold, a beam is in thine own eye?

You hypocrite, first remove the beam from your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.

Thou hypocrite, first cast the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast the mote out of thy brother’s eye.

Do not give what is holy to dogs, and do not throw your pearls before pigs, or they may trample them under their feet and then turn and attack you.

Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.

Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.

Ask, and it shall be given unto you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.

Everyone who asks receives; whoever seeks finds; and to whoever knocks, it will be opened.

For every one that asketh, receiveth; and he that seeketh, findeth; and to him that knocketh, it shall be opened.

Which one of you, if his son asks for bread, would give him a stone?

Or what man is there of you, who, if his son ask bread, will give him a stone?

Or if he asks for a fish, will he give him a snake?

Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent?

If you, who are imperfect, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good things to those who ask him?

If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father who is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?

So, whatever you want others to do for you, do the same for them. This sums up the law and the prophets.

Therefore, all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them, for this is the law and the prophets.

Enter through the narrow gate, because the gate is wide and the path is broad that leads to destruction, and many people go that way.

Enter ye in at the strait gate; for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, which leadeth to destruction, and many there be who go in thereat;

The gate is narrow and the path is difficult that leads to life, and few people find it.

Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

Watch out for false prophets who come to you disguised as harmless sheep, but inside they are vicious wolves.

Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

You will recognize them by their actions. Do people pick grapes from thorn bushes, or figs from thistles?

Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?

In the same way, every good tree produces good fruit, but a corrupt tree produces bad fruit.

Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.

A good tree cannot produce bad fruit, and a corrupt tree cannot produce good fruit.

A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.

Every tree that doesn’t produce good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.

Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.

So you will recognize them by their actions.

Wherefore, by their fruits ye shall know them.

Not everyone who says to me, "Lord, Lord, " will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only those who do the will of my Father who is in heaven.

Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father who is in heaven.

Many will say to me on that day, “Lord, Lord, didn’t we prophesy in your name, and in your name cast out demons, and in your name do many wonderful works? ”

Many will say to me in that day: Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name, and in thy name have cast out devils, and in thy name done many wonderful works?

Then I will tell them, “I never knew you; leave me, you who do evil. ”

And then will I profess unto them: I never knew you; depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

So anyone who hears my teachings and follows them is like a wise man who built his house on a rock—

Therefore, whoso heareth these sayings of mine and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, who built his house upon a rock—

The rain fell, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat against that house, but it did not fall because it was built on a rock.

And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not, for it was founded upon a rock.

Everyone who hears my teachings and doesn’t follow them will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand—

And every one that heareth these sayings of mine and doeth them not shall be likened unto a foolish man, who built his house upon the sand—

The rain came down, the floods rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; and it collapsed, and its destruction was great.
